Robin and Karen: Your mother made it to 90+ -- a remarkable achievement in itself -- and it sounds like she got there with grace and dignity in tact, which qualifies her for the 1% (of those with humanity). I'm sure she's gone to what she's become. Death of a parent -- as I know only too well, having lost both relatively early -- and in horribly tragic manners -- saddens one, and also elicits that inexorable fear that: we're next. Indeed we are. So, let your mother's passing be a reminder to live each day, each hour, each minute with a quality use of time so that when your time comes you'll have, apparently as your mother did, no regrets.
